The SG Eco Fund has awarded $18.6 million to more than 350 individuals, groups and organisations since it began, reaching over 700,000 people. The Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment shared the figures as the fund marked its fifth anniversary.

The maximum Sprout grant for smaller projects has risen from $8,000 to $30,000. Interest is climbing: more than 90 Sprout applications came in between January and April 2025, nearly triple the usual number.

Funded projects range from composting and plastic recycling to rooftop aquaponics and an e-waste visitor centre designed by ITE students.
