- : Top stories: Japan set for Phobos mission, Sudan drone attacks escalate, Europe's wild bees decline
Correction: An earlier version said Finland had left a "UN Charter" banning land mines. Finland and several neighbouring countries withdrew from the Ottawa Convention, a treaty banning anti-personnel mines. It is not the UN Charter. Finland is seeking one million anti-personnel mines.
- : Trump waives more Russia sanctions in bid to ease energy prices as rift with Zelenskyy widens
An earlier version of this story misspelled the name of Russian President Vladimir Putin as "Vlamidir". The spelling has been corrected. The report that Trump waived more Russia sanctions, including after a deal on Russian diesel supplies, is unchanged.
- : Singapore Umrah pilgrims split after advisory to defer Saudi Arabia travel
Correction: An earlier version said the sources gave no further detail on how many pilgrims were affected or which trips were called off. CNA's full report says one family's Umrah trip with OneOasis Travel was cancelled after their Emirates flight from Dubai was cancelled. It also says Travelconnect had been contacted by about 5 per cent of customers booked for year-end Saudi Arabia departures about postponing or cancelling.
- : Selangor probes 10 complaints of suspected water-mixed RON95 petrol
Correction: This story said the Bernama report gave no further details on the findings. The report said KPDN Selangor inspected seven petrol stations on Oct 16 and seized 27 cans of RON95 samples for laboratory analysis by the Chemistry Department. Initial checks found the stations held valid licences. KPDN also issued notices under Section 32 of the Trade Descriptions Act 2011 requiring station owners to provide information and documents.
- : 55 people from 20 families still at relief centres in Larut, Matang and Selama
Clarification: The 55 people from 20 families are housed at a single relief centre, at Sekolah Kebangsaan Matang, not at several relief centres across the three districts. Bernama also reported that the centre opened on Wednesday.
- : Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia hold joint oil spill response exercise
Correction: This article said Bernama's report did not give the scenario the teams trained for. The updated report says the exercise simulated an oil spill from a vessel collision in Singapore waters, with the oil reaching the shores of Indonesia and Malaysia. It also says the exercise was led by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore ahead of the 17th Joint Oil Spill Exercise 2026.
- : Selangor probes 10 complaints of suspected water-mixed RON95 petrol

It found the stations held valid licences, and it is investigating possible offences under the Trade Descriptions Act 2011.
