Taiwan says it drove away 16 Chinese ships that it describes as involved in "maritime harassment", according to The Straits Times.

The ships were reported in several areas: waters off Taiwan's east, south and south-west coasts, as well as near Pratas.

The claim comes from the Taiwanese side, and the term "maritime harassment" is the language Taiwan used to describe the activity of the vessels.
