Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia hold joint oil spill response exercise
Teams from the three countries practised working together on a ground deployment exercise for oil leaks in the Malacca and Singapore straits, Bernama reports.

Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia carried out a joint exercise on Friday, with teams from the three countries practising how they would work together if oil leaked into the waters between them, according to Bernama.
The activity was a ground deployment exercise (GDX) held under the Revolving Fund Committee. Its aim was to improve how the three countries coordinate their response to oil spills in the Malacca and Singapore straits.
The report, dated 16 October, does not give further detail on where the exercise took place, how many people took part or what scenario they trained for.
